A drifter entirely disconnected from modern life, yet curious to its wonders. Camellia is a vampire who has been alive for more centuries than she cares to keep count of, and she easily loses track of the time. She enjoys learning about current trends, but her idea of current trends and technologies tends to be outdated by a few decades, since she rests in a low-energy state for long periods of time between outings. She yearns to see things that are ordinary and beautiful yet forbidden to vampires due to their dangers, such as silver jewelry and rainy days.

MAGIC

Camellia has latent abilities in Chaos magic; her presence sometimes causes chaotic systems to behave strangely, resting on their unstable equilibria. For example, when she walked past an outdoor basketball court, a basketball tossed at the hoop bounced on the rim before settling perfectly on its thin edge. When she turned away, it fell, but she didn't witness which way.

AN UNEXPECTED COMPANION

A small stray cat often follows Camellia around. The creature is a bit pathetic and unable to care for itself on its own, so she occasionally feeds it scraps. She talks to it sometimes, but she isn't sure if it understands her; it always gives her a vacant stare.

WORLD

Camellia resides in New Tellus, a big city built atop a giant crater. Due to her long lifespan and reclusive habits, she isn't a documented resident. She has lived in many different vacant properties over the years.
